Jayme is the Regional Market President for Peoples Bank
Jayme Ungs grew up on a family dairy farm in Dubuque County, Iowa and currently resides near Boone, Iowa with his wife and two children. He is Regional Market President for Peoples Bank and has 27 years of banking background primarily focused in the Agriculture industry. He also operates a small row crop farm operation of his own in the Boone/Ogden area.
Jayme is a graduate of Iowa State University, a graduate of the American Bankers Association Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI as well as a current member of the Iowa Banker’s Association, Agriculture committee. Locally, Jayme is a member of the Boone County Hospital Foundation Board, Boone High School Booster Club Board Member, Boone County Economic Growth Development Corporation member, and a member of the Boone Rotary club.
Jayme also returns to our board with having served on the Iowa Agricultural Development Association board from 2004 -2013 as well as Chairman during 2011 — 2013. Jayme was also a recipient of the lowa Agriculture Development Authority’s Banker of the year award 7 different times between 2004 and 2015. He has a passion for being an advocate for and developing the next generation of farm families in the state of Iowa.
