Iowa Administrative Rules Review
Pursuant to Executive Order 10, IFA is required to review all its administrative rules by September 1, 2024. Following publication of reports of the review, IFA will rescind each chapter and repromulgate rules that are necessary to keep no later than December 31, 2024.
Rule reports will be published on this page. Regulatory analyses and notices of intended action required by the order will be published in the Iowa Administrative Bulletin as they are completed.
Chapter 16 – Petition for Declaratory Order
A public hearing was held on the published regulatory analysis for chapter number 16 on October 22, 2024. No public comments were received during the hearings nor in writing. No changes have been made from the analysis published October 2, 2024. The final regulatory analysis is available here.

Notices of intended action to rescind chapters 9,13, and 19, and adopt new chapters in lieu thereof, will also be published 12/11/2024. Two public hearings on the notices of intended action will be held at IFA (1963 Bell Avenue, Des Moines), in the Missouri River Conference Room.
